Background
I currently hold a distinguished position as a Nursing Professor at Southern Connecticut University. With expertise in nursing education and a passion for community service, I have embarked on a mission to establish my non-profit community center, Life Health and Wellness Center. The center aims to address social issues, provide support, and promote well-being within the local community while connecting future nurses(from various Universities with the community).

Community Center Management:
As the owner of Life Health and Wellness Center, I oversee the day-to-day operations, including strategic planning, financial management, grant writing and program development. Collaborating with staff, volunteers, students and community partners to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members is important to the successful operation of the center.
Accomplishments:
Academic Excellence: I have consistently received positive feedback from current and prior students, the chairman and my mentors. This feedback demonstrates my ability to both inspire and educate. Implementing innovative teaching methods, incorporating practical experiences and simulations to enhance learning outcomes has been key to this success.
Community Impact: Life Health and Wellness Community Center has successfully implemented various programs that address critical social issues. These include providing healthcare screenings, organizing educational workshops, supporting underprivileged families, and offering recreational activities for all age groups. Partnering with local universities to provide real world opportunities is a rewarding connection that the center values.
